Dr. Eshan Nerkar, Consultant Brain & Spine Surgeon has completed MCh from prestigious M S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. He was fortunate enough to be trained by stalwarts in the field of Neurosurgery. During his course, he was exposed to the entire spectrum of Neurological and spinal diseases.
He later worked with Dr. N. K. Ventatramanna at BRAINS Neuro Spine Center, Bangalore. There he had a good experience in advance MICRO-NEUROSURGERY and Minimal access spine surgery. To his experience until now he has performed more than 1000 surgeries related to brain and spinal pathologies. At our center, we have a comprehensive ICU unit to take care of critical RTA patients. OT is well equipped with the latest instruments and Operating Microscopes required for micro-neurosurgery. Dr. Eshan’s main area of interest is Neuro-Oncology, Pediatric Neurosurgery, Hydrocephalus Surgery. He has a special interest in Advanced Spine Care which includes Spinal Instrumentation (ACDF, Corpectomy, C1-2 fusion, O-C2 fusion, Posterior Cervical Fusion), Minimal Access Spine Surgery, Kyphoplasty & Vertebroplasty. He routinely does Micro Lumbar Decompressions and Disectomies.
